The inaugural shootKL event took place over 29th and 30th June 2019 at the Damansara Performing Arts Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The line up of international speakers included Awamu Moja from Luxembourg, Urs Recher from Switzerland, Sails Chong from China, Eric Dinardi from Jakarta, and Mezame from Singapore. Local Creative Portrait Photographer Tengku Azri shared how he developed his career, and Eizo collaborated with Ilford Printmaster Wesley Wong to produce prints by each speaker with RFID authentication that were given out as lucky draw prizes.
